Ekiti Election

How Ayo Fayose Won Ekiti Election ..Details soon

Following the defeat of the incumbent Governor of Ekiti State Dr. Kayode Fayemi at the Saturday's poll in Ekiti State ,Pentouchng can authoritatively revealed that Ayo Fayose won through a protest vote.

Investigations revealed  the indigenes of Ekiti especially those in the rural area voted for Fayose because they were tired of the elitist politics being played by the Fayemi led APC government.

Worse still ,they (the indigenes) have also being having a running battle with the senators, members house of representatives and the state house of Assembly whom they said have neglected them  in their time of needs "our honorable are did honourable people ,they used the money meant for our upkeeps especially the constituency funds for frivolous things,so our voting for Fayose is a way of sending signals to them that they are not popular and that their time and that of APC is up in Ekiti".said an indigene of Ekiti who resides in Ado Ekiti.

Other residents who do not wanttheir name in print complain of neglect by senators, members of house of representative and assembly.

Contrary to the claim by the APC that voters were intimidated by the presence of police and soldiers a member of Fayemi's cabinet told Pentouchng under anonymity that "the election was free and fair, but we lost to Fayose because people want food on their table not developmental project and our honourables have fail to deliver on their electioneering promises,Fayemi is out ,mind you they are joining him soon".
