Hajj Stampede: Anxiety Over House Of Rep Member.

Following the stampede that rocked this years hajj during which over 2000 persons lost their life,there is serious anxiety over the whereabout of a former member of the  House of representatives representing Ifako-Ijaiye  ,Federal constituency, Hon Morouf Adeola Adefolabi.
Ptng learned that Adefolabi who travelled to Hajj with Lagos State contingent has been missing since the ugly incident.
One of his aides took to the facebook to raise an alarm that before the ugly incident on Thursday last week ,he has been communicating with former house of representative member and that since incident he is yet to hear from him.
Worse still he said that all attempt to locate him(Adefolabi) prove abortive as his telephone line was not working again.
When Ptng contacted some of his political associates in Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government  and Ojokoro Local Development area where he once serve as Chairman non of them could offer useful information regarding the front line politician who is popularly  called 'Aileri '
When Ptng called at his residence no one could give any information regarding the whereabout of the front line politician but some of his aides who do not want their name in print neither deny nor confirm whether Adefolabi is missing or not.

A top Journalist and Former Managing Director of The Mirror Newspaper,Steve Ayorinde and former Chairman ,Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) Kehinde Bamigbetan are among the lists of 23 Commissioners and 13 Special Advisers submitted to the House of Assembly by the Governor of Lagos State Akinwunmi Ambode for screening.
The names was read on Monday by the Clerk of the House Ganiyu Abiru.
Also six Commissioners members of Fashola's Cabinet namely Jide Idris,Gbolahan Lawal ,Folly Cooker and three others are part of the team.
They are expected to be sworn in by 5,October 2015.

Awolowo's Wife a Yeye of Ife ,Chief (Mrs ) Hannah Idowu Dideolu Awolowo is dead.
Aged 99 ,Mrs Awolowo died this afternoon.
The details of her death was still sketchy but a source told Ptng that Mama as H.I.D is being called died after a meeting with members of her 100 years birthday committee.
She would have turned 100 on 25,<November 2015.

Toyin,the wife of Deputy Managing Director ,The Sun Newspapers Steve Nwosu  who was kidnapped few days ago has been released by her abductors.
She was said to have been released this morning .
It was learned that the kidnappers dropped Mrs.Nwosu  near Zenith Bank ,Festac and speed off in a boat.

As the Governor of Lagos State Akinwunmi Ambode celebrates 100 days in  office ,Lagosians have criticised his performance so far.
Leading the pack of critics is a Lagos based lawyer Barrister Gbolahan Agoro, he said that Ambode has not lived up to expectations in the last 100 days, saying 'what Lagosians benefited during Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Babatunde Raji Fashola is what Nigeria will benefit under Buhari's administration and what Nigeria suffers under Jonathan is what Lagos will  witness under Ambode,what we are witnessing under Ambode is not governance but vendetta' he emphasized.
Another Lawyer Ade Osinaike said that Ambode lacks leadership quality and he is like a toothless bulldog 'for example he gave the the Okada Ridders plying the restricted roads in Lagos a 21 days ultimatum ,what happened after the expiration, nothing, also the container drivers who were supposed to move at night to their designated area ,you still see them floating his order,honestly,Ambode is a weakling' he concluded.
Tiwalade Oshodi ,a Lagosian in his own comment simply says 'we don't have a governor in Lagos because if there is ,the street trading and other outlawed activities such as Okada on restricted routes will not be rampant,Ambode should settle down to work instead of campaigning all over Lagos when the election has been concluded'.
Babatunde Odetokun, a business man described Ambode's 100 days as 'all talk but no action,he talks too much,instead of settling down to work he was busy chasing shadows'.
Chukwuemeka a spare parts seller in Lagos Island described Ambode's government as inactive government 'when Fashola addressed us after 100 days in office we knew we had a governor then'this one na mumu government'.
A front line politician who do not want his name in print said that Governor Ambode is operating a civil servant government 'that means he has failed from the outset because civil servants will mislead him'.
Efforts to get the reaction of the spokes-person to governor on media was futile.

Nigerias Business magnate and Billionaire ,Antonio Oladeinde Fernandez is dead.
His death was confirmed via tweeter by Ovation publisher Bashorun Dele Momodu.
Aged 79,Fernandez was said to have died  on Tuesday,1,September 2015.
