APC May Lose Lagos

The  All Progressive Congress (APC) may lose Lagos State to its arch rival the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2015 gubernatorial election  if the party ventured  to  dump the 19 Local Government chairmen who contested on its platform for the first term.
PTng learned that the incumbent governor of Labor State Babatunde Raji Fashola  and the APC leader Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu are currently at logger heads on the choice of Fashola's successor and this power tussle has resulted in his (Fashola's) attempt to dump the chairmen because of their loyalty to Tinubu.
Investigations revealed that the incumbent governor who was bent on using  the current commissioner to works in the person of Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat as against Tinubu's choice of Akin Ambode is currently causing chaos in the party.
Worse still the chairmen who helped the party in funding election in five states namely ,Edo,Ondo,Oshun ,Ekiti and Adamawa are now the victim of the dirty politics between Tinubu and Fashola on one hand and the Governors Advisory Committee  GAC) on the other hand.
Investigations further revealed that the 19 chairmen who have been shortlisted for the position of the Executive secretary (interim head ) in their different Local Government and LCDA's have suddenly become the victim of the dirty politics within the party.
A source close to the party told PTng that the incumbent governor of Lagos State has blackmailed the GAC by asking them to nominate names of their loyalist whom he (Fashola) believe will dance to his tune by voting for his candidate at the gubernatorial primaries as against Tinubu loyalist who are grassroot politicians.
A source close to the chairmen and their loyalist who are grassroot politicians told PTng that they will not dump the party but work against it.
