Why OBJ Dumps PDP.

Nigerias former president General Olusegun Obasanjo ,retd claimed that his reason for dumping the ruling  PDP was borne out of personal conviction ,but Ptng can revealed that there are more to it.
Investigation revealed that OBJ as the former leader is being called dumped the party so as to avoid being disgraced.
Ptng learned that following the utterances of the former leader on the the state of the nation ,the party has put a machinery in motion to either expel or suspend him from the party.
OBJ who was said to have spies within the party and the presidency decided to act fast hence his decision to openly disgraced the party by calling some of his allies including members of the press to his Hilltop mansion in Abeokuta,Ogun State where he openly tore his membership card.
In quick response the leadership of PDP through the Ogun State chairman Bayo Dayo announced his expulsion from the party.

My Life Is In Danger----Tinubu

Leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has raised an alarm that his life is in danger.

Speaking in Lagos yesterday Tinubu said that a detachment of some military personnel have been parading the street leading to his house in Victoria Island for the past three days.

The APC leader said he did not know their mission  but he is of the opinion that they might have been sent by the power that be.

He however said that the treat will not stop him from pursuing his political ideology.

Neither the federal government nor the military authority is yet to make a statement on the issue.

PDP Chairman Says INEC Wont Be Ready In Six Wks

INEC Won't Be Ready In 6Wks.

The Chairman Lagos State chapter of the Peoples Democratic party of Nigeria Tunji Shelle has said that despite postponement of the National election by the INEC ,the electoral body won't be ready  in six weeks.

Shelle who was answering question on a current affairs programme said 'I m sure the INEC can not achieve 100% distribution of the PVC and to me that's not palatable and if I have my way I will call for further postponement of the election'.

The party chairman who said the election may not hold this year said it is important for the electoral umpire to achieve the required percentage of distribution before the election  could be held.

Meanwhile the Presidential candidate of the APC General Muhammed Buhari has said that he has accepted the shift in good faith, he however added that further postponement is unacceptable.

The Campaign office of Hon.Adeola Olamilekan Solomon ,the APC'sSenatorial candidate for Lagos West was last night attacked by people suspected to be party thugs.

Adeola claimed that those who attacked his office are members of PDP who are supporters of  Segun Adewale aka Aeroland who is also contesting for Senate under PDP.
