Child Trafficking Saga : Davido's Dad, Dele Momodu Meet.
Following the ongoing face off between Ovation Publisher Bashorun Dele Momodu and hip-hop singer David Adeleke aka Davido over the alleged child trafficking against the music star,Ovation publisher and Davido's dad met in Lagos today.
The meeting which was at the instance of the National Agency For the Prohibition of Trafficking In Person, NAPTIP was attended by Dele Momodu ,Deji Adeleke(Davido's dad) ,Bolaji Momodu,( Dele Momodu's wife),Sophie Ajibola Momodu(Davido's baby mama) ,Adeleke's lawyer,Counsel to Dele Momodu, Barrister Gbolaga Ajayi ,Ajayi Famakinwa and two others representing NAPTIP.
At the meeting, it was resolved that the two families should resolve the issue amicably and that they should stop the ongoing media war among other issues.
The Representatives of NAPTIP who took ,Sophie, Dele Momodu and his wife's statements advised the Adeleke's to allow the baby's mum have access to her child which is currently in custody of Davido's half-sister, Ashley Adeleke.
Also Dele Momodu and Deji Adeleke was said to have signed a peace agreement against media war.
Davido and Ashley was said to have been absent at the meeting while NAPTIP said the organisation is still investigating the issue.
Bashorun Dele Momodu's lawyer Gbolaga Ajayi confirmed the meeting.
Ajayi also told ptng that the issue of blackmailing as being alleged by Davido does not arise 'what will Dele Momodu blackmail him for,money or position or what ? he queried.
