Ptng learned that the coronation has been approved by the governor of Oyo State Senator Isiaka Ajimobi.
Investigation revealed that the coronation committee and the Olubadan in-council  are currently working round the clock to make it a hitch free event.
With his installation on 4,March ,High Chief Saliu Adetunji who is from the Balogun lineage will succeed Oba Odugade who died at the age of 101 recently.

The Fuji singer confessed at the Redeemed Christian Church of God,City Of David Parish ,Lagos said that he used to hire marabout (Alfas) for prayers but each time they leave his house he will take his bible and sanctify their prayers.
He added that his children  and wife are Christians except him.
Adewale Ayuba told the congregation that he became born again in 2010 but he was afraid of open confession because of his brand of music ,that is fuji 'now the holy spirit told me to make an open confession and now that I have done that I have peace of mind'.

The death has occurred of a popular actor Sikiru Adeshina aka Arakangudu.

Ptng learned that Adeshina died yesterday,8, February 2016  in Kaduna,Kaduna State where he relocated to few years ago.

He was said to have died of heart attack.

He said that his remains will be buried in Oshogbo,Osun State today.

Former APC Chieftain Chief Tom has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission,EFCC.
According to Sahara reporters Chief Ikimi who decamped to PDP to support President Goodluck Jonathan's second term bid was arrested over his role in the $2.1B arms scandal.
He was said to have been questioned twice in Abuja but allowed to go home on health ground.

Ambode Impound 200 NURTW BRT Buses .

The Governor of Lagos State Akinwunmi Ambode has impounded over 200 BRT buses belonging to the National Union of Road Transport workers ,NURTW.

Ptng learned that the directive to impound the vehicles was given by the state governor through the office of the Honourable Commissioner for transport about two week ago.

The vehicles are said to have been impounded and kept at the toll gate park of the LAGBUS bus under the watchful eyes of stern looking mobile police officers.

A source close to the Lagos state government revealed that the vehicles were impounded due a power tussle between the state government and the NURTW following the introduction of blue LAMATA buses and a restriction order placed on the red buses .

Ptng investigation revealed that after the introduction of the blue buses the Lagos state government ban all the red buses from either loading or packing at the designated bus stops built on Ikorodu road and its environ for the blue buses.

This and the government plan to restrict the NURTW buses to Iyana Ipaja,Oshodi and Egbeda axis was said to have infuriated the leaders of NURTW who promised not to obey the order,on the excuse that they won't be able to complete the loan sourced from the bank to purchase the buses.
