The speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly ,Hon Adewale Omirin has been impeached.
PTng learned that the impeachment process was carried out by seven members out of the 26 members of the house of Assembly.
Investigations revealed that before the impeachment the opposition forced their way into the assembly hijacked the maze at gun point before carrying out the process.
After the impeachment the new speaker and the other members were said to have screened the commissioner and the sole administrators of the Local government.

KUNLE Fadipe's Mum Is Dead.

Madam Fadipe,the mother of the slain Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government based human right activist ,and lawyer, Barrister Kunle  Fadipe is dead.
The late madam Fadipe died yesterday after a brief illness.
Her death was said to have been caused by her inability to see her son and the bread winner of the family who was murdered recently.
The death of Kunle Fadipe's mum was confirmed by his (Fadipe's) associate and close aide Barrister Olayinka Kujembola.
Madam Fadipe died four months and 12 days after his son was brutally murdered in his Harmony Estate,Ifako-Local Government home by an alleged hired assassin.

Millions Of Lagosian Won't Vote In 2015.

Following their inability to obtain the Permanent Voters Card ,millions of people residing in Lagos State,southwest Nigeria may not be able to vote in 2015.
Ptng learned that despite the one week extension given by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the collection of the PVC millions of persons residing in Lagos State are yet to collect their voters card.
Investigations revealed that some whose name were published in the INEC register could not get their PVC because it was not brought to the centre while the code number of others were missing.
As at the time of filling this report a lots of people are yet to get their PVC.
