KAI,Police Make Brisk Business In Lagos.

As the Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode declare war on street trader and Okada riders ,officials of the Kick against indiscipline and Nigeria Police are currently making brisk business in Lagos.

Investigation revealed that the KAI officials who are supposed to be arresting street traders are currently ripping them off .

Ptng learned that their modus operandi is by using their new black malaria look alike vehicle to intimidate the hawkers at Ogba,Iyana-Ipaja,Abule -Egba and other parts of Lagos and arrest them.

Investigation further revealed that the hawkers will be asked to buy their freedom with cash ranging from between two thousand naira and above,depending on the bargaining power.

Ptng check revealed that the hawkers normally returns to their duty post as soon as the KAI official leaves.

Also members of the Nigeria police are currently milking the Okada ridders dry by arresting those on the streets instead of those plying the banned routes.

The police are said to be charging the ridders the sum of 5,000 per bike with a threat to take the bike to the task force office in Alausa, Ikeja if the money is not paid within a specific time frame.

Meanwhile ,Okada Ridders are currently constituting nuisance in mile 2 area of Lagos State by queueing on the express road, driving against the traffic among other things.

Governor Akinwunmi Ambode has promised to drive hawkers off the roads and okada drivers off restricted area and cleanse Lagos of criminals.
