The fence of  a building built by the former Governor of Ogun State ,Otunba Gbenga Daniel  for his mother has collapsed in Lagos.

The fence of the building stretched between two streets namely Delly and Onijemo,Obawole in Ifako - Ijaiye Local  ,Lagos State southwest Nigeria  fell on another building destroying part of it.

Ptng learned that what would have turned to disaster was averted because the occupier of the building destroyed by the fence were not around when the incident occurred.

Otunba Daniel who celebrated his 60th birthday on Sunday ,10 April 2016 was said to have been contacted through the agent handling the building but he is yet to respond.

Dayo Olomu , Africa's No 1 Motivational Speaker & Human Capital Development Expert in the UK last Saturday 2,April 2016 launched project 1000  at the Soni Irabor Youth Empowerment Forum which took place at Oriental Hotel, Lagos.

The  iconic global brand whose audio CD "You Got The Power" was sent to 180 countries in 2009 launched Project 1000 for Dayo Olomu Foundation (DOF) in which 1000 Nigerians in Diaspora will mentor 1000 youths based in Nigeria on employability and entrepreneurial skills as part of DOF's contribution to move Nigeria forward. The opportunity was offered to the 1000 youths who attended the Soni Irabor Youth Empowerment Forum at Oriental Hotel where he was a keynote speaker.

Before the age of  50  Dayo Olomu relocated to UK in the mid 90s, he was a showbiz impresario in Nigeria who became the youngest promotions manager in the country at 26 years old and  by 27 years  he became one of the most successful artiste managers in the country.

When he turned 40 in  2005, all the top Nigerian musicians in UK led by Diya Ojo waxed an album in his honour. This big honour has never been bestowed on any Nigerian in Diaspora dead or living.

Dayo Olomu , who was named in 2015 as one of the 10 Most Powerful men in London, has received many awards including wining the Leadership Award category at both the Gathering of Africa’s Best Awards and BEFFTA Awards. He recently won the Black Enterprise (BE) Mogul Award and  featured in the maiden edition of BE Mogul, a new annual publication that celebrates and recognises most influential and inspirational black business owners in Britain today.

DDO as Olomu is popularly called was invited by top broadcaster Soni Irabo as one of the speakers for his (Soni Irabo) youth empowerment programme held at the Oriental Hotel on 2,April 2016.
At the end of the programme the youths who were highly motivated gave the humble,powerful speaker and human capital development expert a standing ovation.
Olomu who paid a courtesy call on Lagos State Commissioner for Information and strategy,Steve Ayorinde commended the good work of Lagos State Government ,Akinwunmi Ambode and gave him a path on the back for  passing into law the special peoples law.
He also use the opportunity to introduce Dayo Olomu's Foundation project 1000.
The project according to him will enable 1000 most influential people in the world mentor 1000 persons.

After a long break the management of Lagos State telivision,LTV  has announced the return of its 50  hour weekend broadcast.
The weekend broadcast named Lagos weekend television, LWT will be flagged off tomorrow 1,April 2016  by the Executive Governor of Lagos State Akinwunmi Ambode.
According to a statement issued by the Honourable commissioner for Information and strategy ,Lagos State,Steve Ayorinde, the formal declaration will take place inside Combo hall ,LTV,Ikeja ,Lagos southwest Nigeria.
Ayorinde said the the former governor of Lagos State, Alhaji Lateef Kayode Jakande will the Special guest of honour at the commissioning.
This morning an excited General Manager of LTV,Deji Balogun said'LWT is back to glorious days,the chariot are blazing fire,rekindling three decades of long Nostagia.LWT- taking television to the next level'.

Prince Cyril Bamidele Aideyanba Alele otherwise known as Admiral Dele Abiodun is 68 years old today.
Born in Sobe,Edo State, Admiral as Dele Abiodun  is being called attended Ghana music School before joining Sola Kessington band,he  left the  band to form the Top Hitters band in 1970 and since then he has released hits upon hits.
Some of his popular songs are 'Kinimoko soke yio ','Ewu Ijamba moto','Elemu n get on','Lick my butter', 'Busy Body ',Its time',and others.
Though Dele has not released an album in a long while but he is still active on stage.
This year Abiodun will not roll out drums to celebrate his birthday rather he chooses to celebrate his mum ,Madam Josephine Ilekegware Alele who died on 1,January 2016 in Sobe Edo State.
The burial ceremony has been fixed for between 6 and 7 ,May 2016.
The King of World beats Otunba Sunday Ishola  Adeniyi Adegeye has promised to perform live on the artiste night slated for 6, May 2016 in Sobe.

His appearance during the launching of Akin Akindele's book 'Unending laughter' at Niteshift Coliseum on 28 February 2016 shows that he was not enjoying the best of health.
Bitrus as Sadiq Daba is popularly known because of his role in the popular soap 'Cock crow at dawn ' could not walk properly as he used a walking stick and  was aided by two of his son before climbing the Niteshift's stair case .
He also made brief speech at the launching .

K1 who was on band stand could not control his emotions and he burst into tears as he was sing praising Oba Saliu Adetunji .
He was later consoled by friends and aides before he came back to the stage and continue his performance.
The Fuji king gave a good account of himself during his performance.

King Wasiu Ayinde Omogbolahan Anifowoshe aka Wasiu Ayinde Marshal is 59 today.
Born on 3,March 1957 the man who is popularly known as K1 the Ultimate is from Fidipote ruling family of Ijebu -Ode,Ogun State southwest Nigeria.
The young Wasiu started as a parker with the Late Sikiru Ayinde Barrister's band  before forming his own group in the 80's .
The man who brought glamour to Fuji music has released about six albums before Tala '84 released under Omo Aje records owned by the present Olubadan Oba  Saliu Adetunji.This album shot him to the limelight.
After Tala '84 it has been hits upon hits.
As faith will have it K1 the Ultimate who has promised not to celebrate elaborately until he is 60 will be in Ibadan Oyo State today to celebrate with his mentor and the owner of the then Omo Aje records now Babalaje records Saliu Adetunji who will be crowned as the owner Olubadan of Ibadan tomorrow Friday 4,March 2016.
